American Masters – Woody Allen: A Documentary

The two-part, three-and-a-half-hour-long “American Masters” portrait of Woody Allenthat will be broadcast on PBS this Sunday and Monday evenings is so engaging and enlightening that it seems too short. Allen was a willing subject, granting its director, Robert Weide, a wide range of on-camera interviews, at home and at work—and so were most of Allen’s key collaborators, going all the way back to his standup days.
